i started on dirtbikes too.. since i was 10.. and age 18 i finally was able to buy my own bike... i got a 04 gsxr 750.. had it for 2.5 months.. put over 2000 miles on it.. havent dropped it yet.. and i ride hard... just.. wutever u do .. dont get a 1000.... i suggest a 600.. cuz 750s are un forgiving if u dont know wtf ur doing.. and dirtbikes are totally differnt.. it really doesnt matter how much time uve had on them.. its about how well u can adapt... its ur money.. and i really think ud be dissapointed any anything under a 600..
