I picked up the jeans today - they're great! They are a bit tighter than expected but they will break in soon, I'm sure...odd because these are way tighter than the other jeans I bought (both from ICON) and they are only 1 size apart. Anyway, the expansion portion for the knee is awesome and I can feel sweet chilled air creep up my now thanks to the beathable material in the crotch. My have never been tickled so nicely in recent history

The EVS Gliders were too tight and I didn't buy them. I tried on several EVS, ICON and A*, all in there largest size, and I can't find any knee guards that fit me The calf area is fine...it's the thigh area that's tight. , the EVS couldn't even be strapped on, yet alone fit comfortably. This is what happens when you have massive quads lol

Any suggestions for super big knee guards?

Frank Thomas XTi Leather Jacket.

I know it is not quit as nice as others but it is definitely safer and warmer than my current mesh. And at $180 (down from $319) it cannot be beat and is within my current budget. This was also part of Cycle Gear deals this weekend.

Get a pair of the A* that have two velcro straps around the calf. No need for anything around the thigh, they won't move under your pants.
