You don't need turn signals to pass inspection. However if you do have them on the bike they must work. I know thats true for the front of the bike but not sure about the rear.

(I know you don't "need" turn signals but they sure are nice giving a heads up to your abrupt lane change....)

Not sure. I never wanted to go to HID but it was cheap and the low beam sux on the bike.

My plan is to use this for daytime(has a projection beam so I wont be blinding other bikers) and using the highbeam at night(turns off the lower low beam projection light for the upper one.) I will crack the support between the two so I can angle the highbeam down enough to not blind oncoming traffic.
