You see......the whole Ducati thing was all talk. Another 2 seasons behind Rossi is it.

I think he only signed another year, keeping his options open to chase more money this time next year....

He wasn't going anywhere, just playing game to get more money. What team would he go to and have a chance of winning with anyway, surely not Ducati.

The rumors around the paddock is that he didn't get as much money as he wanted because Ducati didn't want him as bad as he thought, lol. Have fun being #2 Lorenz-HO!

I hope none of you actually thought he would jump ship from the best factory bike in the paddock with the best bike developer in the paddock as a teammate did you? LOL what a joke he is not stupid.

Why wouldnt he have a chance riding a factory ducati? Just wondering..
I do remember quite a few races where stoner was walking away from everyone, including rossi.

I would hardly call that walking away, they caught him, smoked him, and he threw up in his helmet cuz he was having morning sickness or he forgot his Midol or something.

Lorenzo stayed as he should with Yamaha

Two words: Melandri and Hayden.

Both (inspite of people's personal opinions) are among the most talented individuals on the planet and can not get along with the Ducati.

Lorenzo would VERY likely have the same results as those two.

That said, some tracks favor the Ducati and it performs better (same is true for Honda, Yamaha, etc) and Stoner "walked away" on pure skill alone- he can ride the pizz out of that bike. Nobody else can do it it seems... 'cept Bayliss probably.

In all honesty, I hope Stoner gets over whatever is plaguing him. He was a force to be reckoned with a season or two ago.

I read that Stoner is sick from fatigue/stress. He's been at it hard for the past few years. I think Spies is coming to Tech 3 for a year before bumping out Lorenzo.
