Chris will have to answer you on that but it seems like a great way to make the members aware of special offers that they may normally pass over without noticing

If you do not wish you receive PM's in the future you can turn them off under User CP.

It is not spam if it is from a sponsor.

personally, if there's a great deal from a sponsor I think it's cool if it's sent out by PM. I don't always think to browse by the sponsors' sections unless I know for sure I need something, and may miss a deal or event. Seems good by me. That's just my opinion though.

plus you can always just delete it.

its not like its a constant thing as well.

Its something I told the sponsors they can do everynow and then for important sales/events.

I thought the prices on the bt016 were worth a PM. I think I know the PM you speak of.

I guess they PM them out because too many people unchecked receive email from Administrators.

You could disable PM's completely. Personally I just delete them, I don't care for them, I get enough PM's I get tired of cleaning it out. But what you gonna do?
