check out this video and pay attention when both riders hit the corners, you can clearly see how the ducati 1098 uses its low end torque and pulls away faster than the inline 4 literbike!

I love my 1098 and my gixxer 1K also even tho the 1098 rider in the video didnt have the best upper body position he was railing that thing, bikes are cheaper and easier and thus better for most riders, most people cant appreciate a fine Italian V-twin, I,ve had several ducs for over 15 years and no they arent for everyone, but they are a fine machine, and have a very loyal following

848

I have a new 08 848 white and love it. I went from a Gixer 1k to this bike with no regrets. My chioces were another 1000 or a Busa but went with the Duc BC I wanted something different. The bike looks awesome no bike compares and with the new manufacturing it's supposed to be reliable and less costly to own and so far no issues with mine. Be different and go with it you will love the ride.

Or am I mistaken?
how about this idea, 95+% of riders can't max ride any bike so why does it matter how fast racer does it..........

point is, most/all bikes are better then the rider aboard.......so the limiting factor is the rider.
