Ok so I just went through the Amsoil graphs and I use Mobil 1 4T racing oil they show Mobil V-twin oil but when i click on it on the graph it shows Mobil One 4T Racing wonder which oil they actually used.

Shell Rotella 5w40 fully synthetic...it says for heavy duty large engines (on the box) but it's the best bike oil on the market, in my optinion. (I do not work for Shell)

amsoil just seems shady to me in the way they sell it (looked for close place that sells and pulled up someone's home address guess its like Tupperware) . To each their own, but all companies will say theirs runs the best. Amsoil has that presentation on their oil because they hired someone to do the study. I'm sure if Mobil ordered a study it would say theirs was the best too, but any motorcycle synthetic oil is good.

I was pleased with the Motul 5100 and then I started using the Rotella FS and it seemed to work just as good. Only downside is it doesn't smell as good as the Motul, mmmm smells like candy

RP Max Cycle 20/50 in the engine, Syn 3 10/40 in the transfer case. Didn't like the feel of RP 20/50 on the clutch but the engine runs cooler on RP. Forums suggested Syn 3 and it works alright. I feel like a sap when I pay for the stuff, though.

If you're not Bob the oil guy, don't even try to make sense of the testing. RP, Amsoil and Mobil 1 have all been reprimanded for "aggressive" advertising and unfounded claims. I'd start with Patrick's advice and search the forums to see what people like for your bike. If I'd done the same it would have saved me some trouble.
