Trackdays at No Problem Raceway

Hey guys, I was referred to the site by Henry Martinez, but wanted to introduce myself real quick.

My name is Shane Liles, and I'm currently hosting the track days over at No Problem Raceway, in Belle Rose, LA. Unfortunately CMRA had to cancel their event here this year due to the Hurricane Aftermanth, but hopefully they'll be back next year! At any rate, I am currently hosting monthly track days. You can check out our current schedule at www.tigertrackdays.com/events

Please excuse the website....its more of a test than a product! We try to host low-cost, laid back trackdays and give our riders plenty of tracktime. We average only about 20-25 riders on Monday events, and 30-40 on Sunday events. If anyone has any questions feel free to shoot me an e-mail at dragnee180@yahoo.com Hope to see some of you guys out there!

-Shane

Hey Guys, as far as distance from Houston...I'd say about 5 hours. I live in Baton Rouge, and Houston is 4 hours West. From Baton Rouge, the track is about 45 min away. But you'll already be rolling on I-10, so under 5 would be possible I would think.

I've been hosting the trackdays there for about a year and a half now. The prices fluctuate with attendance trends, but Monday events are almost always under $100, and Sunday events usually right at or slightly above that. If you guys have any questions/suggestions/comments let me know. I'll work for you guys to get what you want!!! We can also host private dates for groups as small as 10, and the cost still be reasonable.

Thanks,
Shane

Also, there ARE power connections. There are about 20 covered pits(for cars) that have power, can get plenty of bikes under there. First come, first serve. I have never seen anyone who got there before 8am not get a covered spot if they wanted it. Sometimes they do charge us $20 for plugging in on Weekends, sometimes they just let us slide.

I thought that they were changing the track. The last time I was out there, they were doing some groundwork so that map may be out of date. Shane would know more than me about it.

That would be needed. With the price of gas these days it would easily cost 100 bucks for a round trip on gas alone...so the money you save on a cheaper track day is gone. Car pooling is the best way to go.

I'd love to try out NP raceway, but I'm cool with paying 175 for a track day if it's just an hour away.

If you guys bring a group of 5 or more, and pre-pay as a group, I'll discount each rider $15.

As for the layout, it is the same per the diagram above. Some alternate layouts were tried, but simply did not work very well at all.
