we are thinking he hit some loose gravel on the freeway that maybe a dump truck dropped

Don't know him but I'll say my prayers, always hate hearing this stuff. Just curious I can't picture this in my mind. How far of a drop are we talking about?

I spoke to him at 6:20 am and seem ok but just the pain in his leg he does not really remember how he fell or what happen he kept asking me what happen so I told him but didnt even have a clue of how he even fell. He is going to be going to surgery to put rods in his left leg since his femur was broken.

let me know how surgery goes edgar !!!!!! and that corner he went down on is real bumpy if its the one im thinking of....couldve been many things that happened.....i ll keep him in my thoughts and prayers today !!!!! glad he's still around to smile and laugh at our meets !!!!!

the accident happen going 59s to get the 610 ramp to exit westhimer he fell right in the middle of the 610 ramp on down. His helmet save the impact a lot because from what we sened it was only scuffed from the front chin part but his vest took the beating we carry a back protector on out vest I think that helped him a a lot also.

Way back when, I crashed on the exit ramp coming downhill off 610 from the ship channel going onto 225. I didn't go over the side, and I wasn't speeding or doing anything out of the ordinary. It wound-up being diesel that had spilled out of a truck, presumably from the turn sloshing it out. The rear tire still had some on it when we looked at the bike.

Hope the best for this rider.

When they repaved and changed that interchange/exit ramp they did a really poor job of repaving it. The pavement is very uneven and bumpy and there is a big jagged uneven seam right in the center of the lane. It is best to keep to the right and away from the seam because it is a little smoother on the right side. Easy to see how that section of pavement could cause someone to go down.
