I just picked up a gopro myself. I have a couple of other setups but the gopro seems to be ideal for my preference, very small, can mount just about anywhere and no wires.

yeah the only negative is having to buy alot of cards for it and batteries. but i brought my laptop and just ripped them in between sessions as far as batteries if you get batteries you might have to use 6 a day if you want every session recorded..

I'll probably bring my laptop and rip it between sessions, or just pick one session to record. It says to use the Lithium batteries only, I'm guessing they dont last that long??

the lowest I ever got at msrh was 1:55.9 on a fresh set of 003's.

this past TD me and nick hovered around 1:58 and 1:59 for most of the day. For me it was mental because I lost the back end once coming into the back straight.....I looked at my lap times after that, and I was in the 2:08's......it took a session to get back down below 2 minutes.

once the new 1080p GoPro comes out, all those issues will be resolved. It'll have its own rechargeable battery, and will take a much bigger mem card. oh yeah..and itll be in 1080p 30fps, or 720p 60fps.

I'm not sure.....industry showings are the only reason we know it is being made. I don't think it's even on the gopro website yet.

It'll retail at $300 which really is a steal when you think about it. I'll be using one next season

Time for a tire change. I know you are/were looking to get a bike for combo street/track use. When you do, I would suggest getting a spare set of rims for track. Put some GPA series 2's on there and call it a day!!!!! I threw a new set on the GSXR and they pwn 003's!!!!

Sunny has already ordered a bunch of them. I know they were supposed to be coming in soon. I should be going to the shop after I get off work. I will see when ETA is and let you know.

I'll see how the bike search goes....there's still a chance I'll buy a track bike and a street bike. It's looking like I'm in for a salary bump and a $20k bonus check in January. I just gotta make sure I'm hitting ALL my numbers until Dec. 31st.....but the housing search comes first. My wife and I are looking to get a house in LeagueCity, in a nice neighborhood called magnolia creek on the golf course.

Mag Creek is frickin nice man!! Give me a shout sometime. If you think you might be looking to build, I think Lance still has a lot out there. He bought one of the last empty lots and has been sitting on it. He was planning on building his own house on it, but found a killer deal on another house, so he was looking at selling his lot in Magnolia.

We're looking to buy march-may... hopefully the housing market is still a buyers market.

..... I had no idea about the newer model hitting the shelves soon. I got mine at a pretty good deal at least, I picked up the wide angle one with all the extra mounts (msrp 199) for 134.00.... Let me know when you guys pick one up. Give some feedback on it
