Scorpion EXO 400

I ordered my scorpion exo 400 off the net and followed the sizing charts and also went by the sizes of my previous helmets (Large).... So i get my brand new scorpion and this SOB is tight and very stiff!! Will it loosen up once I start using this or should i try a xl??? I mean the padding is very thick and i believe thats where the tightness is coming from.. ANy ideas on how to loosen this up so i wont be uncomfortable??

Scorpion helmets run tight - I normally wear a medium but had to go to large with the EXO 400.

I know my scorpion I've had for a couple years is too loose now... Honestly, sweat in it and it might loosen up.

You should put it on, sit in the garage, PW on MH for about an hour.... bam simple fix - Just fill it up with sweat...

Good luck though.

It will loosen up when the padding starts to get broken in

Scorpions have two shells. Large and small.

The cheek pads for the Large, XL and XXXL helmets are interchangeable since they all share a large shell size.

Changing cheek pads to change the helmet fit: To get MORE room in your helmet, you need to buy a THINNER cheek pad. To get a TIGHTER fit, you need to buy a THICKER cheek pad. Example: If you have a size Large EXO-400 helmet, you have cheek pads that are 25mm thick. If the helmet is too tight on you, a 20mm pad would give you more room.
