OK Guys here's the deal:
This IS NOT A SCAM! Read Ride Texas It's listed in the back.
The guy (Dana)who does the rally is a sportbike rider(Billet encrusted "Busa) as is his wife(R1 Raven). He also owns the BBQ shop that puts the rally on. He is ALSO involved with the city council. The rally started 3 years ago just to give back something back to the sportbike community, Dana said that there were TONS of rallies/get togethers for the Harley crowd and the touring crowd but nothing for SportBikes, so,,,Realizing that, and the fact that the local economy is pretty much in the dumper,,,, What better way to have a SPORTBIKE Rally and to draw money and traffic to a town in the middle of nowhere!
(Speaking of nowhere,, did you ever go to the 4 corners Harley Rally? Little town middle of nowhere and a million bikers! time to party!)
Last year there were over 300 sportbikes, this year they are cooking BBQ for 600+ people!

There is a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Senior Citizens Center
Raffle items include 3 new sportbike jackets(I think they are ICONs) 3 new Helmets, and tons of gear. There is a stunt team coming in from Abilene and several stunters from West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. There is going to be a live band. Some of the local sportbike riders are going to do a bike rodeo(Wienie bite, slow race etc etc) for the riders that want to compete.
No 1%'ers, No attitudes, Just good clean fun getting together with other sportbike riders and hanging out!

Oh and as for why the "Old folks" would want a "Bunch of young SportBikers" in town,,,,,, BELIEVE ME alot of them don't! But most of the people in town know the rally brings a ton of money into the local businesses so they like it! And the local women/girls LOVE the BIKERS!(Both of em!hahahah)

Yeah the location IS in the middle of no where but for once SportBike Riders have something that is OUR OWN not hanging on the coat tails of the Harley rub'ers or the Wing riders! So what do you say ? Help this thing grow guys if you can't make it invite some one else' or print a copy of the flyer and put it up at a local shop!
