Thumbs up Hislop on the RC45 at the IOM TT

One of my heroes talks you through a record lap at the IOM TT.
In this video, Steve Hislop gives play-by-play commentary on his winning lap of the Isle of Man TT onboard a Honda RC45 in 1993. Hizzy won the TT a total of 11 times, the British 250cc championship once and the British Superbike championship twice before being killed in a helicopter accident in 2003.
In 2001, Hizzy (customer spec Ducati 996) lapped Donington Park GP Circuit faster than Valentino Rossi (Honda 500cc GP bike).

How many times do you think he rode that course? He is familiar with just about every spot around that place...

Those switch backs are crazy, I thought he was going to hit a hay bail in front of a telephone pole at one point... I almost shat my pants and I was just watching!
