I've never had someone do it for me, but the rug doctor works good and you can rent them from krogers for something like 40 bucks a day.

And I will also say this, I bought a new vacuum two weeks ago, it was the red and blue one from wal mart for around 120 and had a rainbow salesperson come by a few days later, that walmart one picked up stuff the rainbow couldn't, it's supposed to be modeled after a dyson.

If your just looking for normal upkeep it might be something to consider..

^^^^^^

Well, it's not that theirs didn't clean, it's just that mine sucked up stuff when I went behind his in the same track =)

The vacuum comes with a clear plastic thing that the dirt goes into instead of a normal filter, so I emptied it out and when I went over the spot he went to, you could see it pull up more krap from the floor.

He was like "Wow...so, uhm, whered you get that thing?" "wal mart" and how much was it? "about 130" "oh...." and he just left real quick :P

I'm not trying to overrun your thread, it's just that I couldn't see paying 150-200 dollars for a one time visit when you could get a machine that produces similar results for the same price, except you get to keep it =(

Dude, just buy one from walmart, clean it up, and then return it when you're done.

It's like AutoZone's free tool rental thingie, but not really...

I see companies in the paper that do specials "pay for 3 rooms get the 4th for free"

I don't know how reputable they would be, but if they can afford the big ads they run they gotta have a pretty decent customer base
