Looking into buying the sidi vertigo boot or alpinestar mxplus. Any suggestions or opinions on which would be bette or occasional track day and spirited street rides?

I thought about saving 100 bucks and getting those, but some people said the support is not as good. I actually liked those.

Love my Sidi's. I bought one size smaller than the shoe size that I wear and I dont think I could find a better fit. I have the corsa airs.

sidi's are not made for wide feet unless you get the new 500$ ones. they come in different widths also. only the vortice, $500. the alpine star seem to fit wide feet better. i like my sidis, but the alpine star are prolly more comfy

agreed, and I wear a EE in my work boots/western boots, but i like a tight, form fit in my riding boots so there is no play or slipage when on my toes in a tight turn

i have the sidi vertigo's...great boot...great protection...(2 high speed get offs and they served their purpose) plenty comfortable...i added some dr. scholls though.

only real things wrong with them were caused by me, the rear heal plastic broke off it's mounting screws and the soles started seperating from the shoe...but some shoe glue fixed it right up

My back piece came off too. I tried on both. The Astars feels bulkier like hiking boots. The Sidis are lightweight and feel like wearing socks.
