Motard Wheels??

OK.. I'm picking up an 0 KX250 that i wanna convert to a motard for track play and neighborhood hooliganism... any idea if 250 or 500 ninja wheels will work? or do i have any option other than dropping a grand for some??

i have a brand new pair of gold talon ultra-lite hubs wrapped with 17" excel wheels for a 04 kx250f. you may check if that would work.

nevermind, these won't work.

well the front may with custom spacers made.

i think your bike has 20mm axles front and rear. that will narrow down some wheels for you.
(according to talon hubs and based off a 2000 KX250)

what year is the bike?

you will probably end up dropping a grand for some no matter how you look at it, unless you can machine the wheels yourself. paying per hour for machining can add up quickly.

cheapest route (for 17"ers) would be using the stock hubs inside 17" rims.

look for some drz400sm rims too. they are both 20mm axles front and rear.
