Teasers... working on the small things like bolts etc.

I mounted the headlight to the fairing stay and immediately discovered I was correct about the spacer... the front fairing needed to be forward 1".... so I made a spacer w enough room to put washers on both sides and eventually I'll drive the correct nut into the barrel spacer so the whole assembly is an extention of the original fairing stay.

Im enjoying the project thus far. Once I get clutches Im putting the engine backtogether and going to ride it around the dealer.

I still need some critical parts like proper length front brake lines(way too long w the 929 suspension/brakes on the 636 clip ons) and rear rotor.

Tires then etc.... I just want it finished lol.

Mirror stay is in!!!!

Im going to see how it fits tomorrow. The front cowl is off an 01; however the frame doesnt have the mounts for the mirror stay designed for the 01; so Im hoping the 94-97 mirror stay design will fit without too much modification; the clip ons should clear the stay I have. Looks like I may need to start prepare for body work.

Im been throwing around ideas... there will be a sticker kit on the lower fairing; and the lower fairing does have the vent holes on the front of the lip unlike these pics.

Whatcha think?

Any side fairing colors dont look good. I may keep it simple and only have the fairing stickers(repsol stickers w/o the repsol kit.)

I like the yellow too.

Maybe with some matt black number plates with some white accents.
Always like that color combo.
