Interesting.

A few small parts of the chrome paint is peeling I noticed. I wasn't too concerned but you may be onto something. The filiments are open anyways; the 97 and up used the caps over the halogen bulbs.

Had some time at lunch to play.

Im going to do an offset lense headlight:

Headlight separated to clean(was so dirty on the inside from sitting):
headlightseparated

Xenon headlight assemblies I had around, torn apart:

I got screwed:

Used parts had to throw away two headlights out of an x3 due to damage. No xenon parts but they did leave the projector beams etc

funny how this project has inspired others to start there own projects. I cant wait to see this beast on the road. I have a 97 cbr 900 also. I was gonna sell it but after see-ing this one being built. I think i might just keep it. I would love to keep mine until it becomes a collectors item.
