i wanted to do the forest ride so bad but something came up that requires me to be in houston at 2pm, i have never been to the forest but i know its a long ride so i won't be able to come back, shower and change in time for my appointment

here is a map of brookshire (racer road) and fulshear for all the people that have not been there before..... Brookshear has 13 turns each way and Fulshear has 6 turns each way, the turns are a bit sharper than crabb river

You should hit FM 1489 (bottom right corner of your map, South of I-10) on the way back too. Just be careful as you're headed South. I personally know of 3 riders that have crashed on that first big left hand turn

yes we will do that as well! south of I10 is fulshear and 3 months ago i was right behind Manuel when he crashed due to a rider coming on the opposite lane flashing his high beams right in the middle of the turn and kind of distracted Manuel for a split second and next thing you know him and his bike was sliding down the ditch, luckily he was ok but his bike looked pretty bad.

Oh ok, i remember you now! thanks a lot for picking Manuel up in such a short notice

It was nice riding with you last saturday, wished i could have gone to Galveston with the whole group but unfortunately had something to do after 1pm so i just went back and forth crabb river a couple of times and went home.

What happened on that ride? i missed the whole incident, Chris mentioned some about that girl braking hard in the middle of the turn

Yeah Long was following Ink a bit to close into the turn and didnt relize she wasnt going to take that turn as fast as he was, so when she slapped on the breaks he had to pull out out and go into the shoulder on the turn (outside), hence gravel and dirt. The bike jumped around but he maintained control and go back into the road itself. Very scary.

the way i usually do it is to stay up all night and take a long nap when i come back from the ride, its a lot easier than trying to wake up early in the morning.
