Ronnie Hay (aka Ronnie H.) is about the only HWT racer I can think of on MH.

I would love to race that class but I don't have a bike that would be competitive in the class :(

Looks like in the CMRA race results that they usually have small grids, and the Daytona 675 is racing this class???

Romeo, what makes this class an interest to you to want to compete?

Well simple I've raced small twins for 6 years and running a big twin I imagine to be an easier switch than going to a 4 cylinder. Riding a twin vs riding a 4 cylinder is completely different.

The last SV1000 I've seen was Eric Falt's and that was quite awhile ago.

Luke Conlin had one too. Of course Luke was running his SV and killing Novice HWT before he moved to the liter.

HW twins is a fun class! The grids are smaller but that is primarily due to the startup costs. A v-twin is typically more expensive than an in-line.

A well ridden 675 will have an equal chance at every track except TWS (Texas World Speedway). That front straight will favor the big hitting twins!

I get smoked by the Duc's on the last half of the front straight... I can beat them off the chicane but they catch me bought 25 yards before the finish line every time... some sooner... the inline 4's like a GSXR 1000, Honda's 1000RR etc etc get me much sooner. That may not be saying much as I tend to be slow but i usually get out of the corners really well, especially the chicane at TWS (Texas World Speedway) and I can twist the throttle in a straight line with the best of em

I can't believe no one mentioned the 1125R Buell. :-)

I love riding a twin. There is nothing like them for torque and low end power.
Looks like Ducati has them going pretty fast as well.

Is there any reason why you couldn't race an 848 in heavy twins? Other than the obvious performance disadvantage.
