I really don't think Vermulan or Toseland will be in MotoGp next year!

Lorenzo has really got the hammer down but come race day y'all know where my money lies
the big 46 aka the GOAT

Randy D's ankle must be slowing him up

Comment from Fab
Quote:
"The Ducati Desmosedici GP9 Sat is a completely different bike compared to mine and one hour of practice it's not enough to understand our potential,” he said. “The bike is much lighter, the engine much more powerful and also the traction control is really good.

“I still can't manage to brake as I would like to because I am used to Superbike reference points, but from tomorrow I should improve. I found the biggest difficulties in the front part of the bike and it will be there where I will have to concentrate tomorrow morning to be able to feel the bike more mine,” he added.
so the 1198 factory WSBK Ducati makes in the region of 200BHP we're led to believe, where do you suppose that puts the GP9

So FIAT Yamaha qualify 1 and 2
Rossi heads Lorenzo but for consecuative fast laps on race tyres Lorenzo definately has the edge!
With Rossi crashing out of qualifying and making a mess of his No1 bike, tomorrow has all the ingridiants of another classic!
go Rossi Go

The lap record has been hammered in qualifying without qualifiers and with, to quote Rossi, "tired" engines. makes the pace they're running even more remarkable

Had to laugh at the commentators comments about Fridays practice,
apparantly Fabrizio sauntered into the riders briefing with just a touch too much cockiness for some and during Fridays free practice the passes made on him were brutal welcome back to MotoGP

Best news of the day,
Marco Melandri has signed for Gresini Honda for 2010

Kalio was looking good till his off
Talma is getting unbelievable support here

I loved the race! Freakin' Lorenzo just can't finish the job under pressure- rings of Pedrosa failures against Rossi.

, WTF was Kalio thinking???? And then acting like it was Melandri's fault?!?!?!?

I can only think it was the camera angle Tom cause I'm with you, looked like Kalio's fault but Kalio's reaction and Melandri's come to that say different

Another demonstration ride by Rossi
Maybe now Jlo will understand why Yamaha won't pay him as much as the GOAT

Props to Dovi for catching that 100mph+ slide on his knee
and for finishing the race Irak

did you see the 250's??
awesome race, won't give away the result in case you haven't but check out bautista before Dorna pull it

i am with grinchy, we need to see another angle or the sky view, i think melandri was at fault hence he didnt say anything to kalio or was at him.

Lorenzo needs a psycologist. He had the edge on the race pace but presure presure for wanting to be the best.

Man.. What happened to Kallio? I was a huge fan of his in 125 and 250, but he became an absolute douche with a huge sense of entitlement this year.

First he runs into Nicky, blames him and his manager takes a pot shot and says.. "Mika encountered a slower rider .. blahblahblah" Now Marco makes a clean pass, and Kallio plows into him and blames him too. Sad.

Poor Tony.. he makes a good point. He's won a race before and has podium'd in just about each season, and each season he finds himself looking for a ride. What's he got to do? He's even Spanish which certainly doesn't hurt. I guess he needs more personal sponsors that he can drag along.

Farbrizio pulls out cuz his arm hurts? Me thinks he doesn't like circling in last place any more.

Commentators made a good point.. Why didn't they put Jakob Smrz on the bike instead? That would have been great for Pramac Ducati and Jakob on his home track. That dude would have chopped his hand off if would let him continue the race. NB: never trust guys named Michelle

The only thing I can see that would make it Melandri's fault is if he checked up mid-corner... but looking at the replays and watching the incident during the race it doesn't appear like that was the case

It doesn't make sense, check this out,
looks like kalio is the one at fault everytime I watch it

Marco's comment
Quote:
“I thought he came over to say sorry, but actually he was very angry with me. He said I was wrong. Maybe he was very tired and he couldn't think very well,” shrugged Marco.

@ Marco's comment

Melandri wasn't in the wrong. He made a clean pass. Sure, he had to slow down to keep from running wide......but Kallio should have known better then to run it up his .

Sucks to see JLo go down.......again. I was hoping to see a battle to the end. Oh well......that what happens when the doctor goes to work on you.

Indy race should be a good one.

Anyone else missing WSBK.
