Cool What's your favorite track and why?

Please tell us, is it location, convenience, paddock set up, distance of track, width of track, slow and technical vs. fast and flowing?

Sorry if I missed a track. Please mention it if I forgot about it.

Oak Hill Raceway, Henderson, TX, Amenites are very low, very little electricity, Track condition and length could be better, but I like it because it is technical and you can ride anytime you want if you have a racing license.

I haven't ridden on most of those tracks.......however, out of the ones I have been on I like World the best........it is frickin fast and isn't in as bad of shape as I thought it would be from the way people talk about it. I have only ridden it once, but I will be back every chance I get!!!

1) TWS (Texas World Speedway) - I like the layout, close to home
2) Cresson - The track flows well and the facility rawks
3) Oakhill - the track is rough, no facilities...but hey I had my first race there and have a soft spot for it.

TWS (Texas World Speedway). Best paddocks short of Miller, but the real clincher for me is that I know the track so I can work on other things (braking, shifting, body position) without worrying about blowing some turn, and ending up in the dirt.

I might add that if you've only ridden one track....don't vote. As realisticly you don't have anything to compare it to. It will be your favorite by default

I have been to GSS; MSR-H; TWS (Texas World Speedway) & H2R. They are all different tracks and everyone of them I like somehow, it is very different to say which one is my favorite track.
I think out of those: TWS (Texas World Speedway) & H2R would be in the lead, followed them closely by MSR-H. My least favorite track would be GSS.

1. Texas World Speedway, college station, i like the paddock setup, its still relatively close. also like how the track is fairly wide (to accommodate my noob mistrakes), and how it seems fast (i'm still slow) and flowing.

2. MSRH, angleton, closer than TWS (Texas World Speedway). paddocks are ok,not as big as TWS (Texas World Speedway) and they lack benches for your stuff, but still ok (just gotta get there early!). track is definately more technical (stupid diamond's edge)

for me TWS (Texas World Speedway) > msrh. hoping to do cresson sometime soon, hopefully before year's end.

i have not ridden oak hill or hallet...

but i picked cresson.

nice paddock and area. but my vote is mainly the track itself. It just flows nicely. not to fast, not to slow. technical parts, not so technical parts. my only complaint is how far it is... but hallet and others are farther they each have their pro's and con's. In my opinion, eagles canyon had the best layout. but doesnt flow well. Besides the fact that the surface has sucked the past couple times...

Better yet, mike, just plan to go to cresson anytime after october 1st.

I like TWS (Texas World Speedway) the most. Close to home, available with many track days orgs, first track I rode on .

Second is MRSH. Again, close to home, great facilities, but, in my opinion the track surface went to very quickly.

Third would be mix between MSRC and Hallet.

But the best track that I rode on is definately Barber. But it's very far and I only been there 2x.

1. TWS (Texas World Speedway) - Good paddock, good layout, not too far away, wide track easy to work on mechanics.

2. Cresson - Like the layout, good facilities, track is well maintained.

3. Harris Hill - Close to home, fun track to ride, elevation change is sweet, great people running it

4. Oak Hill - Even though I crashed there early this season something about it makes it special, I think it is a milestone track to master and I like that

5. Eagles Canyon - When I went there were some wicked bumps right where I wanted to go but overall the elevation changes were awesome. I did crash but I was very green.

MSR-H, its so technical and fun, its also the closest track to me. It is however closely followed by TWS (Texas World Speedway), because TWS (Texas World Speedway) is so fast you really get to see what your bike can do.

Well Mike since you made me pick only one, I pick Eagles Canyon. I had a freaking blast the two days I rode there. I loved all of the elevation changes. Not much for facilities but no biggie.

-I love MSRH because that is where I learned to ride. It is very close to home and nice facilities.

- I have a love hate relationship with TWS (Texas World Speedway). I hated riding it on my 04 GSXR. I bought the Honda and did two track days and finally started to love it. Then came the wreck and I hated it again. Yeah, yeah I know I am a woman change my mind often.

- I like GSS. I had a lot of fun the times I rode there. No facilities but it is very close to home.

- Cresson is ok. I have only ridden the 1.8 once so I just need more time there.

-Never ridden Oak Hill but I will remedy that next month!

Eeeeh I used to not like it too.. I have been to TWS (Texas World Speedway) far more times than any of the other tracks and I know it so well that I can really just work on the mechanics.

Actually a bunch of people don't like it for a number of different reasons.

Kind of a repost, but I'll play along.

I didn't vote 'cause they are all good.

My least favorite is MSRH 'cause the layout is a boring and it's flat as . GSS more boring, but it's smaller so feels a tad more urgent.
