Ticket Question

Got a weird ticket this AM, "failure to drive in single lane". Moving violation...on par with speeding? Should I save the lawyer fee, represent myself in the hearing and take defensive driving, or get the lawyer and hope for a dismissal?

Was late to work and ran into a covey of moto cops on Westpark Tollway. Cool guys, but got ticketed... no speeding ticket fortunately.

Thanks! I'll definitely take that vs sitting in DD for 8 hours. Do I need to bring my beginners course certificate or can they go by record? I lost my certificate :BangHead:

To Princess: I was riding on the center stripe to avoid getting picked up by the sensors/camera on the EZ pass lanes since I forgot my toll tag this morning. Westpark toll is EZ pass only.

he's already admited to splitting the lanes, so he was doing something wrong.

you don't need the cert. you just need to have a bike that will pass basic inspection, gear, insurance, and an M endorsement.

Next time you feel the need to don't. If the tag is registered to the bike then it will be charged to the tag anyway, if it pictures your plate.
