I was holding the tube so I could aim it 'cause that's what makes fireworks fun - blowing up other people. I wasn't the one lighting it. And it was dark so it was hard to see if it went in USD or not.

i do the samething, but i'm too chicken to light it and then drop the mortar down the tube. i usually make sure the mortar is nice and comfy down there in the right direction before i light it.
