exo 900. anyone have it?

i have been generally dissapointed with my exo 700 ever since we welcomed our triple didget temperatures back. my main beef has been the 700's poor ventilation.
i just had an exo 900 in my hands, i guess scorpion just came out with it because i have heard nothing about it.
it's a modular helmet and it also has the flip down sun shield. it looks and feels pretty good and it felt a lot nicer than my 700. the vents are all big and seem lik ethey would be very easy to open or close on the bike and also like they would move a lot of air. the shield felt a lot more sturdy and has a thumb tab on both sides for ambidextrous operation.
i think there was a battery compartment in the front on the left side. why? i dont know. it looked the right size for aa or aaa batteries.

anyways, anyone have any firsthand experience/opinions?

Don't know anything about it b/c it is brand new. I stay away from the flip ups, but I would say that any helmet is going to be hot in Houston heat

BTW it looks like the 900 has less vents than the 700

Not what you are asking, but I have an 08 & an 09 X-11 from Shoei. The 2009 offers way more ventilation that the 08.
So if it is ventilation you are looking for, get an X-11 from Shoei.

its heavy as but that is to be expected on a modular helmet. i am guessing it is geared towards touring/cruising rather than sport riding.

I carry these in-stock for the Goldwing/Sport Touring guys. Its actually a pretty cool helmet. For sport riding maybe not the best option (RF1k of X11 would be much better).

The compartment on the side is for J&M electronics.
