No more details as of yet. Looks like a sedan cut him off. There's been an impact on the right rear bumper of car parked next to the bike

Hope he's okay.

I've seen a female motocop. She was trying so hard to be tough, she didn't wave when I threw the 'Hello Kitteh'.

I have never seen any wave. Though I have gotten a few to nod.
Best wishes for the downed officer.

I just got back from there (Pearland). I noticed the back-up coming up fast, at W. Airport, so I quickly took the exit to get to 521. Hoping he's ok.

A Houston police officer sustained minor injuries in a traffic crash this morning on Texas 288 south of the 610 Loop.

The wreck occurred about 8:45 a.m. on the 610 exit ramp of Texas 288 northbound. Traffic was backed up as emergency crews cleared the site.

The officer, who was able to call his wreck into dispatchers, was lying on the road when paramedics arrived. He was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The officer clipped the back bumper of another car and his bike toppled over, police said.
