Prayers needed for local racer......

Just got a text telling me that Zac Chapman crashed at VIR yesterday and is in the hospital with a serious head injury. I don't know any details other than that........
I personally am not close with him. The only reason I know him is because I met him at Hallett (was gonna buy a gsxr tank from him). However, I know he has been in the scene for a long time and I know he has a lot of friends on MH. So, I wanted to post this so that those that are close to him would know, if they didn't already.

Not sure. I have tried finding details online but can't find anything. Got a text from Junior. He said he doesn't know any details and haven't heard anything since this morning. I will update if I hear anything. I am hoping someone "in the know" will get on soon and update everyone.

Zach's family is very religious, I know they and he would genuinely appreciate prayers.

We'll be praying for you Zach Attack.

Thanks for posting the link Romeo...........I tried to find something on the WERA board last night but couldn't.
Was going to check RRW today, but looks like you beat me to it.

If I hear any more news, I will keep everyone posted.........

Zac had surgery last night to relieve swelling on the brain and thankfully survived the night. They are keeping a close eye on the swelling and keeping his temperature down. The most critical time is between now and Wednesday. If he can make it to Wednesday, then there is a good chance that he will survive.

hang in there man!

Hey Junior, how is the rest of his body? Broken bones? How is neck/spine and all? Everything I have read has talked about the head trauma but hasn't mentioned the rest of his body.........just curious as to if you knew anything else....
