Turn signals

I just installed my new front turn signals. Question for y'all.

My old signals stayed lit while riding and would flash while signaling. The new signals do not have this feature. they are unlit while riding, and only flash. My question is, is this legal? are they supposed to be lit while riding?

no they dont have to be lit while riding. Mine are lit right now but i am going to snip the wire that runs constant power so they will only come on when i hit the switch

Yeah, I would deff prefer that they were lit constantly for visibility. Oh well though, I will make sure the next set I buy has that feature.

Same here, I need to install the 3 wire turn signals. The ones on my bike are 2 wires, but the wire harness is 3 wire and they just taped up the constant wire. But I prefer the running lights for safety at nite.
