I need new gauntlets

I currently have a pair of bargain-basement AGV gauntlets that are going on their 3rd season. The stitching is starting to come apart. Guess that means its time for replacement. I'm not real interested in name brand color matching everything so whats an inexpensive gauntlet that'll actually hold up in a crash?
A motorcycle is a joy machine. It's a machine of wonders, a metal bird, a motorized prosthetic. It's light and dark and shiny and dirty and warm and cold lapping over each other; it's a conduit of grace, it's a catalyst for bonding the gritty and the holy.

I have some A* SP2s. They seem real solid and only cost $100. Plus I have seen alot of crash tested A* stuff and I would feel confident about the safety they provide.
