This turned out to be an entertaining thread! lol

For the record my feet may be size 9.5 but they are extra wide.

Right now I have some Icon boots that do fit just over the ankle but not enough to protect my ankle. They are vefry comfy. For work commute or breakfast run with the wife they are great. I just want a bit more protection for more spirited rides.

Most ppl don't.

My inseam is only 29", so my calves start about 2" lower than the boots are made for... So, they don't fit. I promise.

Funny thing is I am taller than you (5'10") and my inseam is also 29". Short legs, long torso. When I walk it is like Fred Flinstone taking off in his vehicle.

I am beginning to think I am a mutant freak. Time to get some DNA tests done.

Good grief! You guys are freaks!

How do you touch the ground? Bike lowered? If not, then I call BS on the inseam. I had to lower mine 2" and I'm still on my toes.

And I'm only five foot nothing- and my shoe/boot size is 7.

All that means is that you have ver long legs for your height. Well proportioned.

I wear a men's 9.5 EE in most shoes if I can. I also happen to be 5'10" 230, with massive legs. Both thigs and calfs. Like, so massive, I was wearing a size 40 alpinetars pant just to get enough thigh room.

I wear sidi vertigo air boots, and adjust the calf retention strap as necessary. The boots did requires a few painful trackdays to break in (mostly for my wide foot), but they're great now!
