Seems pretty interesting, nothing wrong in trying to make something different, especially if it's going to work. I'm sure they won't ruin all the bikes with it and might keep it as an optional addition.

Hey, you never know until you try.
ABS has come a long way and modern systems are very effective in use during panic stops.
Sure it was'nt great at first, but you gotta start somewhere.

I can see some applications that could benefit from 2WD.

the bike only applies front wheel power when the rear wheel has slip. I just read an indept article about it. says the bike takes corners at a higher speed and it smoother through the turn, rather than being chattery. but thats just what the article said(not verbatim of course)
