NAICE!!!!

The clip ons are a bit weird. Mock it up with the standard bars and post it up for comparison.

Oh and wipe it down! Rob. If you are gonna mock it up...clean it up.

Is gamma in there for scale?

I kinda like the Clubmans, but they stretch me out just a little too far. I'm gonna ride it (when ready), and see how it feels over a few miles.

Patrick had been recommending Converti-Bars for me, and I may just go that route. Gamma just likes to be in pictures all the time!

I was gonna clean her up, but Sophia drew pictures on it, including one of daddy (which you can see in the first and second pics, just below the clutch lever/left handlbar)! So I couldn't get myself to wiping it off!!

Anyone know any local machine shops that can fab up a custom triple tree?

I think this can work with the stock triple.

I just ordered a set of handlebar risers, which will bring it up 1" and back 1". The reason for my trying the Clubmans this time around is that I hope it makes it easier for me to flick the bike around the track, instead of battling the wind with my body straight up and my arms wide out!!

I'll see how it goes, but I'm kinda liking it, although I know I'll tire out alot quicker on longer rides... but at least I'll be leaning into the wind, instead of feeling like a sail or parachute against it!

I don't have any standard bars to mock it up with! The Pro-Tapers are bent up, and the stock ones I gave away to XRCajun.

Yeah, I really need to get those gauges down a bit. I may have to fab up a custom bracket.

I really can't move the headlight up much more, unless I move it waaaay out. I want it as close as possible to the forks anyway, but gotta figure out a way to move it up another inch. I'll have to cut into the upper triple, or have a custom triple made, which would solve all the issues, including the gauge placement.

If it were my bike, and you wanted to go through all this effort. Why not use triples from, say, a CBR1000RR and use CBR inverted forks. I'm 99.9$ sure the ignition tumbler doesn't stick out so far on it

I'll be doing an RC51 SP1 or SP2 Fork swap in the future, but since I went through the expense already of RaceTeching, Wheel Swapping, Galfers, etc., I just want to get this finished up now, so I can get my azz back on the road!

Anyway, it looks like with this latest mock-up, I don't have to worry about a custom triple!!

Is it worth doing all of this if you're just going to do it again with the new forks? Secondly, why RC51 forks?
