So just a thought about a trailer/toyhauler

So I was thinking about buying a RV Toyhauler or a reg toyhauler but then I saw this and got a good ideal. I mean I could convert the inside to haul 4 bikes and 8 people. And with it being a 7.3 Liter Diesel motor it should just do fine rite? Tell me what ya think about it.

Dayum.....that's a lot of miles.

If it runs fine, that's a pretty good idea.

Paint the windows black or cover them somehow to keep the curious out in the hotel parking lot, put a ramp in and that would be sweet. One of my friends bought a Sprinter van and added chocks and tiedowns.
Works great. You can fit 2 bikes, all your gear and ice chests and stand up in it.
We towed a trailer to Barber then on to the Dragon's Tail and back to Houston. 4 bikes total and all our and still avg'd 21mpg at 80mph most of the way.

Have you thought about looking at bank repo/salvage? I have seen a lot of toy haulers and things that were salvage because the inside was vandalized or they had slight hail damage that was barely noticeable. You will save a LOT of money. You are going to be modifying the interior most likely, anyway right?

Mark had a full sized bus. It was sweet but seemed to run out of room quicker than I would have imagined. The things that took up most of the space were all the spares, gear, 50s, gas jugs, dump can and just race stuff. It did its job of hauling bikes and bodies very well. But lacked a few things that make a Toyhauler so nice:
A/C
Shower
Fridge/Freezer
Microwave
Oven
Toilet
Beds
Generator
Could you pimp out your ride and add all of this things in a van or bus? Absolutely, but it would take some time and $.

The windows need the vinyl with small holes in it. You will be able to see out and they cant see in. That will be a sweet ride.

This is on the list of things to buy for next season. I may be slow as , and never fast enough to race, but I enjoy the out of trackdays (and even vacations TOO trackdays) that this would be quite useful.

I've seen where a few companies have started to make class A toyhaulers, but they're 6 figures!

you only need a CDL if you are driving for commercial purposes, just gotta throw "not for hire" on the side. same goes if you wanna buy a big rig 18 wheeler....you don't need a CDL if it's not for commercial use.
