yeah, I am making plenty of power, but with being limited to 8-12# boost on a stock motor, decided it wasnt worth it.
I broke the bolt off in the head so while it is torn down Ima go ahead and get the heads tricked and I still havent decided on what to do with the "size" of the motor. nallin is running specials on kits right now with the forged goodies that will allow for 20# boost safely, so,, at present, the direction is up in the air, I know I want mo powa, thats all I know right now and to get there, I will needs these buellxb heads worked maximum efficiency ie: cnc porting and biggere valves better retainers etc etc

I figure I was in the 100/100 range with the 8# and pump gas, thats a 30 hp increase over stock, reasonable for just a low boost turbo and w grind cams

Heads is where it is at. That is really how I was able to make big HP from a 50 shot. Got aloot more than 50 more hp.

7 pages later and back to the start.
the head work with bigger valves and hoopla installed is in the range of 1k.
new cams 400, I'll do the install myself. nallin is having a special on jugs and pistons, and if I go 88 or bigger I gotta totally tear it down and split the cases for machining. so I may just get the heads done, bigger cams and spray some nx, and maybe throw the turbo kit back on, I dunno yet, 8# and a little 30 shot of spray with good headwork should easily see conservative 120 hp and equal torque on pump gas. that will make a mean sporty, but not really where I think I want it, but also on the other hand, its riding season and I dont wanna go for a complete teardown and redo until winter, so I may opt for the quicker route (heads &cams) of $1500. or less and be happy for now, I already bhave the turbo kit and ignition done

Yep I got about $1400 in the head alone. Plus the new intake cam that replaced the exhaust cam.

allow me to rephrase the question..

how much NOS will be going thru the motor when you hook it up?

now, i understood the run was w/o NOS.

and i did not read all the b/s below to see that it is 50...

alrighty then!

Just a weak 36 jet which equels a 50 shot.
