Just to set am example for the other members, you're going to be banned for 30 days. Motohouston members are not allowed to speed, or break any laws whatsoever. You must set an example for all of the bikers, so bye bye!

Good show, not on the speeding but for giving the Officers props.

Usually all you hear on this board is "effing PD". The vast majority are good
people doing a job we wouldn't.

I'm betting you pulled over quickly, gave them respect, had your insurance, bike registared and inspected. That will usually go far.

One night I was cruising down 225 going through Deer Park. It was about 1230am so the road was pretty empty. I pulled up beside a Lamborghini Murcialago (no lie), so naturally, it was go time. I lay into the throttle and as I crest the next overpass at about 140, I see a Deer Park cruiser to my right, parked with its lights off. He was facing traffic, sitting on the on ramp median, so I know he's running radar and I am busted.

I immdiatley begin slowing down, pulling to the right, looking in my mirrors for those flashing blue and red lights. Instead I just see the brake lights on the cruiser flashing on and off. Basically he is just telling me "Slow down."

I always thought that was cool. He could have taken me to jail, and I'm pretty sure he saw me slowing down and pulling to the side of the road, so he could see I wasn't running. But he just let me go with a simple tap on his brake lights.

well...at least with me that never works..!!! I still get the "drill instructor/a$$hole" attitude and always a ticket. I dunno how you guys get away with warnings. I just close my case with Taylor Lake Village Court and still pending another Court date with Humble Municipal Court, both for "speeding"..!!! The first one doing 30MPH in a 20MPH zone (not a school), the second one doing 60 in a 40 zone (exit ramp).

yeah i pulled over as soon as i saw em, parked the bike, turned it off, took the helmet off and got my stuff ready before they got out of the car. my plates are renewed but i havnt put the new sticker on yet, doing that today hehe. inspection expired a couple months ago too actually there were tons of patrol vehicles out last night, but it was also between 1 and 2 am so they were probably mainly looking for drunks leaving sherlocks pub

Most "quick lube, sticker, and screw-up" places will do it. You have to start the bike for them and turn all of the lights on. Done.
