when i see a stretched bike, i automatically assume that the owner of the bike cant ride worth a and just uses the bike to pose and try and get girls with it. plumage and mating rituals and whatnot.

keep your stock swingarm length and dont suck by giving a great big 'fvck all yall' to the engineers. the gsxr is the only 750 supersport left out there. it's got a heritage to uphold, and really you would be defacing the bike by putting the extended trash on there.

My bike is stretched, but that's how I bought it. Granted, it looks cool but you sacrifice your turning ability. If you plan on eventually draggin' the bike, that would help. But like some people stated earlier, do what's best for you and what makes you comfortable.

Shouldnt have even started this thread. Stretch the B*tch. i have a 600 and it was stretched did just fine for the riding i did. tho i took it all off and put it back to stock again and did a track day. but for daily riding around town and following posted speed limits around curves you are just fine. i had 8 inch stretch and i enjoyed it cause i also went up 5 in the back sprocket, ok imma stop..... its your bike do what you want to do to it. you like stretch them stretch it.

I hate stretches On anything other than a Busa or a ZX-14. Anything less and it just looks stupid. Whenever I do get a Busa or a 14 though, it'll have roughly a 6 inch stretch.

PS... Blocks are gay on any bike. If you're gonna stretch it, do it right and buy a custom swingarm. At least you'll be able to throw a fat tire on.

+1
I dont see why someone would stretch their bike if they intend on learning it over. Just screams attention needing squid. Of course I hate chrome as well.

Mines not streched, but
I like the streched, lowered look on a lot of bikes out there. There is a huge market out there for that look! If you like the look, go for it! I'm all about custom bikes & cars!

This is why we all ride what we want, the way we want! That is all.

I have a stretched zx-10 and I can ride worth a ! Yes turning on it sucks, but I bought the bike to learn how to drag race. I love going fast in straights and in turns, but unfortunately it's the only street legal bike I have and can afford right now. If it wasn't for drag racing it would definitely stay stock.

What looks stupid is when a complete noob tries to drag race a busa and loops the bike on the launch. I would rather look stupid for gradually working my way up to a bigger bike than having a cool looking bike and looking like a dumbass because I don't know how to ride it.

Stretching is for a reason, drag racing, But most guys havent ridden a stretched bike, and yes it does effect the handling some, but not as much as people think, A couple years ago I had a Texas Shootout drag race on a sunday and a TWS (Texas World Speedway) trackday the next day, so I ran the shootout with my bike stretched 9 inches and then ran TWS (Texas World Speedway) the same way and was turning some purdy good times stretched, but I would only do it if drag racing it.
