QUICK RANT!!!

Put my sv650 in the shop about a month ago had them check out why my brights wernt working and to get the oil changed. I was told that the wiring harness to the light switch was melted due to a bad ground. They told me they are going to replace the harness and that my warranty would cover it but.... The harness is on back order untill august 4. So today I call to get an up date and the ship date has been pushed back to august 11. I know it isnt the shops fault "they have been great" im just frustrated. I NEED TO RIDE!!!! Thanks for listening.

Were you running an after market extra bright bulb? That will sometimes overheat the plug on the back of the bulb.

It's only a couple more days, you're not going to die, if they're replacing the wiring harness that's an expensive fix- make sure that's what they're doing and ask for the old parts they are replacing- not to mention you can use that bad boy later by splicing in some new wires in place of the burned ones
