Crappy Contacts?

O.K., I would like to know how many of you out there are into the attempted color change of eyes. Not accent, suttle change but the nappy wanna be blue or total change. Put if your Male or Female.

Why bother, I'm a Ramius and we wear contacts but we don't bother with colors.

Just curious about the color change. Do people think it makes them look better?

No, I don't have anything against helping your vision.

If you don't already wear them, you might find them to be more trouble than they are worth, stuff gets in your eye a lot easier and even the soft contacts aren't the most comfortable things in the world.

If you do already wear them, then changing the color is a minor thing to do, I don't even think the doctors charge for it.

You can try getting some soft contacts, but when you first put them in (your doc will tell you this also) It's going to reaaaaaaaaaaally hurt.. the first time. It's like having two big rocks in your eyes.. It's just cause your body isn't used to that, after that they don't hurt, but your aware that they are there. Kinda like a condom.

I already wear contacts. I used to wear one blue and one green just to see the looks on people faces when they noticed. :laughing6 Did make a good conversation starter in bars too.

Don't do it anymore. Colored contacts are thicker and bother my eyes more.

my girl wore them since the day i met her and i always told her to get rid of them cuz i think in the long run they might affect ur vision and after 7 yrs of bugging her she got rid of them,, i tried wearing them when i was in high school just to see what the fuzz was about and my eyes got real messed up for 2 days...

been wearing contacts for 11 yrs now. hard ones for first 9 yrs, then switched to soft. tried the sample colored ones, but my eyes are too dark, plus it's like looking through a tinted visor all the time (but darker blue or whatever color), so i opted to stay with plain clear ones.

I've had contacts since I was 11 years old, one of the youngest people in Missouri to get them (at the time)

I can't wear soft ones though, my eye changes shape too fast and the hard ones act like a cast. After this long with them though, I wear my hard ones for a week at a time before I take them out, I hate fooling around with cleaning them and all that, I'd give anything to be able to wear soft though, I had a pair once when I lost my regular ones on vacation, they were so comfortable and nice.. but they look as big as a parachute compared to the hard ones

I hate contacts, really, if you have an opportunity to not wear them, I suggest you do that.

I feel like a vampire, I can't go outside without shades because the sun seems so much bright, they focus the brightness onto your eyeball and full daylight downright hurts =(

I'm always getting in my eyes that bothers me because a little piece of dirt that normally wouldn't even have been noticed turns into a big deal since all of a sudden it's a contact sized obtrusion on your eyeball, and not just a little piece of dirt

Plus you gotta clean them and if you don't they get all hazed over and stuff.

They really are a pain, and in my opnion not worth the benifit of having someone say "Hey, are those color contacts?"
