A bad day of riding

I have a friend of mine that was wanting to go riding Sunday so he comes on down from cypress (to pearland). Well he wants to stop and eat before we go ride so we stop at Jacks grill. We get finish and walk out to the bikes and he goes to open the back of his bike to put his hat in there and the key breaks off under the seat:BangHead: . He doesn't have a spare key and the bars where locked so no loading it up and taking to the house. Called keysmiths nobody would help with it being a bike, so it came down to stripping the key hole out to let the broken part of the key fall out. Well we tryed to get a copy made from the broken key but nobody could do that either about this time 3 hours have passed so he was and slide the broken key into the ignition so he could ride his bike home. This day sucked and I felt bad for him no riding and now he has to buy a new ignition. So another words anybody that doesn't have a spare set get up and go buy one. That away you don't kill your day of riding and nobody elses lol. Hey Casey hope you got it all worked out now.

I only have one key also. Can you get one made at Wal-mart or such, or do you have to go to a motorcycle shop?

See his key looked like it was a regular copy key that is why it probley broke off I think it would be better to get one from the dealer.

you can get them made anywhere they make keys. you can order key blanks from the dealer if you want the key to say kawasaki, yamaha, etc. but you may need to order them if the dont have any that will fit your style key.

ive had a few made at home depot.
