how much mileage from stock tires?

how much are you guys putting on your stock tires before you make the switch to good rubber? almost at 7k on my stock BT020's (or 21's i forget), along with 3 trackdays. most likely gonna go with the BT016's. for reference: bike is an 07 650r, and tires will see commuting, backroads, and track.

I got 5700 out of my OEM Dunlop Qualifiers. The cord was showing so I parked it until my BT-016s came in

Just enough miles to get to the tire shop and take that off there.

FYI make sure to set your pressures
28 front & 22 rear cold. Do you have warmers?
We had great success racing the BT016 at those pressures. We didn't race on the BT016 front, but that BT016 160/60 rear is a very good tire. For your application, they are perfect.

I've got 9k on my stock front (dunlop something), and 8 k on the rear Michilin PRII. Stock rear got a staple in it at 1k miles.

Going to get a new front today...
