How often do you wash your bike?

Simple question, bring on the answers.

I wash mine at least once a week, usually after every time I ride. My car on the other hand is a different story.

if its dirty i wipe down, also if i get rained on. lately its only been washed after trackdays. usually clean and lube the chain as well. riding dirty atm =P

curious as to how everyone washes theirs. i just spray it with the hose, wipe with car soap + water, and rinse off with the hose again. i break out the leafblower to dry it, gets the job done quick. aaaand if i'm up to it i'll wax the whole thing.

I wash it like you do except I hit it with a chamois, since I used to detail cars I'm kinda when I wash things. Then I ride it around the block to get all of the water off of the wheels and brakes. If some of the plastic looks dried out I hit it with back to black. Sometimes I wax it, usually I at least wax the windscreen and headlights to help with cleaning.

Are you serious?

They're designed to be all weather vehicles - of course you can wash them - and SHOULD once in a while. They tend to run better when they're clean.

Walk in the garage... Look at it, light bulb goes off in my head... an hour or two later clean as a whistle. It happens randomly and depends on how much you love it :P. I love mine .

I wash mine when it gets dirty. When i wash it is a dry wash for the most part, wd40 all the metal. damp sponge then liquid clay bar and microfiber it off. While I'm cleaning though i check bolts and whatnot to make sure stuff is all fastened down.
