Hard to say.
None of the manufacturers have a "suggested" air pressure for extended 610 runs....

This has $hit to do with $hit, just had my own mind wondering on my earlier question.

"Speed ratings are based on laboratory tests where the tire is pressed against a large diameter metal drum to reflect its appropriate load, and run at ever increasing speeds (in 6.2 mph steps in 10 minute increments) until the tire's required speed has been met."

Great diagnoses both Patrick and John, the knowledge helps keep us all safe.

Careful out there Slowblack, come get your track on again.

The BT002RS is a street tire by nature so the tire does not really get that effected by heat cycles. With that said, a close inspection before each trackday is highly encouraged. If there are any questions i'll be happy to look at it.

You can always use the placard that was or is on your swingarm as a starting point

Just curious, is the tire a 003 or 003 R/S?

That's the rear only and it's certainly safer than the pressure he was running when he started this post

I agree

Plus it makes me look like a slowpoke..... even more so than I really am... When I put my bike back together for the street, you and I should go for a stroll down 610 again

Can't say I agree with you on that one. at 42 psi, once he goes into a corner, there will be minimal contact patch because the tire is so inflated. The boy doesn't only go in a straight line at this speed....
