Suprised that somebody would jack a Rhino Lining painted bike. Not to hard to spot that but, thieves suck.

I live right off 1960 & 45...

Whoever jacked it has a brand new rear tire, chain & sprocket kit and fresh brakes (which, by the way, Patrick did a GREAT job on)...I don't have a recent picture of, I've done a shitload to it since the last time I took pictures...It's got a carbon fiber low-mount exhaust and a black windscreeon on it, it's lowered an inch and a half, the engine case covers are painted black on both sides, there's no emblems/stickers on it except 'YAMAHA' in red along both sides of the lower fairing...it's got a fender eliminator, and the plate number is 835L4F...

the only reason it wasn't inside my apartment is because i live on the third floor...

and knee_dragger, if you're being serious where'd you see it...and if you're ****ing around come and say some like that to my face, and I guarantee you'll be eating through a straw for at least a week, ***got.

to everyone else, thanks, and keep an eye out for an ugly- rhino-lined R6

I keep mine in a garage apartment. It's actually a good setup, it used to be a garage so it has double doors, lots of track lighting...great for working on the bike after hours or if it needs to stay in pieces for more than a day.

I wouldnt guess that people would want an '01 R6 (parts on ebay cant be that much in demand) but I guess if it's just sitting there in an apt complex then a thief would just say, what the why not. I used to rent one floor of a house inside the loop and my upstairs neighbor, an M.D., kept his '01 R6 right next to a heavily traveled street in plain sight sitting beside his attention-arresting BMW M roadster. He never locked it for the year I was there, never even locked the handlebars...and as far as I know he still has it. That's why I figured it wasnt a theif target, but I guess you just had bad luck.
