I wouldn't overlook rossi's sense of humor, I think he's been doin those test runs just out of interest/recreation.
Seriously, he will not get the same type of cash and he will not like the taste of defeat. There is no way in he is even (honestly) considering F1.

What are you talking about? Not the same amount of cash???? There is more $$ in F1.

Kimi Raikkonen is #5 on the Forbes list.

I heard he was going to be an immigrant worker specializing in dingleberry harvesting.

Hmmmm..... Maybe I should start a poll.

I know there is more cash in F1(the richest sport in the world). But kimi/schum. are proven winners in the sport. Those guys won and proved themselves, you think if kimi came into motogp they would give him top cash right away?
BTW I forgot about that, a couple years ago Rossi was insisting to the media that he will be in rally car.

I thought this was going to be a poll about what Spies should do to Fabrizio for Brno Race 1.

Max still has it. If he hadnt of been held up in 3rd so long in the last race he woulda went 1/1. And he set a new track record in race 2.

NO.

I respect Max, but his time has passed. Just because he is great at BRNO doesn't mean he would even be competitive in MGP. Look at Gibineau.

You know what I was as but you know what, fab was truly sorry(unlike biaggi who prolly woulda said **** off, this is part of racing). It was awsome sportsmanship when he held that sign up saying " i love you ben" in front of the camera's right before race 2.

Guys, the Rossi rumours have been going on for years about F1 and Rally. The bottom line is that only Rossi knows what Rossi is going to do. All these foriegn "articles" about Rossi and what "he's going to do next year" are like the garbage you see in the checkout lines in the grocery store about Jennifer Anniston and Bad Pitt.

The "articles" about Spies are the same way. Now if someone can produce the actual contract (not a translated from Italian "article") that says Spies is going to MotoGP after a championship win in WSBK, I'd buy it. Until then it's all speculation and whimsey from the author- nothing more. Most of those foriegn rags print things as factual and have no scruples when it comes to fact checking- refer to the Bad Pitt reference above.

I don't care if I'm wrong; I'll concede that if it comes to it, but I seriously doubt that Spies is going to leave the series for a rookie ride in MotoGP after this season even if he wins the championship. Just my $.02.

I agree w/ you 100%. Just the state of the Moto GP economy should be enough for him to hold off. Give it another year for sponsors to get back in and for what changes to the rules might happen (engine limitations, elctronics, etc) to get ironed out. These ~15 rider grids are a disaster. If you have 1-2 DNFs, everyone else gets points. That's not good.

Rossi's the type of guy who won’t retire, without knowing.. (is Ben faster?) Its on! Just a matter of time. Rossi knows what lap times Ben is ripping out, and what machinery he’s on. It begs the question…

I eat lunch at the restaurants at the base of the W almost every day. I'll be looking for Ben now for sure. I bet he walks around down there all day and nobody knows who he is. VERY pretentious neighborhood, surprised he would choose to live there. MANY Texas girls with no ethics when your funded like he is..... (.)(.)..
