I need to go to a recruiter. Air Force or Navy seems like what I'd be interested in. I got a 96 on ASVAB, but I don't know if I'm eligible.

this is a touchy subject... i think we are over there for good reason, saddam needed to be put away. and i very much support all of yall crazy fukers over there, and all around the world.

it is true that we here in the states view alot of anti-war broadcasts, and almost all the media news coverage is that of a liberal standpoint. but i have alot of friends, and family in iraq, and afghanastan.... and i get viewpoints from both sides of the spectrum.

id like to think that if i wasn't a fat , id be doing my time for my country.... but i am unhealthy, and the military would never take my big a$$. sucks, cause my grandfather was in the navy (landing craft pilot), and my father was an airforce officer (pilot during vietnam)... i always wanted to either fly, or jump out of airplanes... lol, but truth be told, i was never able to join cause of my health...

As a civilian here in Baghdad, we dont go on missions out in streets . But we get the stories and the pics and we hear the blasts from rockets and mortars and IED, I see the tears when someone dont come back and I,ve attended too many memorial services than i want to remember. 6 months ago a mortar ripped through my living quarters but didnt go off, i was at the job and not sleeping so i just had to move to a new hootch. I am a target too!! all the local nationals that i've seen and talked to , when they can talk freely and not worry about who is watching will say they are glad that the U.S. is here but are too scared to be seen in that way(Pro U.S.) cause they can become targets out side the walls of the base. Its sad and i got many stories i could tell you in my 16 months here. Some days good/ some days bad. some days real bad..
If you dont support the reason why the U.S. is in Iraq - fine. But the men and women serving in this war are the best of the best- The best in the world and I love each and every one of them.. Proud to stand with them!! You should always support the troops...Its not just a sticker on your bumper..

Well while in Iraq we made our own base camp and stayed in others for short times, few days. Like all the state named camps. So it was kinda laid back cause we were there when the thing first started.
First unit from Houston Activated. As soon as we made it to the boarder with the pipeline the shots started the next day I do believe. But we were pretty far behind the front line

Well me personally i think we are there for a b.s. reason these days. Yes in the biggining i did suport it but we got what we where after...If the people wont even stand up for whats right then why shoud we help them? i have said it b4 and i will say it agian, all those people that yall are helping are still harvering terist and are raisng more off the little basterds....If you want to help them then inialte them...But we arent actually there to help them bush could care less about them he is there to try and make peice and make them happy so we can get to the oil thats all....

We went in took out there leader and got some revenge then they wouldnt allow us to have oil...SO now we are sucking up and trying to get it back....

I totaly suport all of our troops and i would hate to see this turn out like vietnam where people spit on out troops when they came back....I suport you guys 100%.

Im sorry if you dont agree with the way i think but i am very open minded so tell me why im wrong and maybe i will listen. But i want proof not just your b.s. talk.

The American opinion toward the Vietnam war changed because people were the seeing the atrocities of the war....remember the plane pic with all the coffins inside....that was censored real fast...OPEC regulates the oil prices I do believe but right now in Venezuela the gas is like 29 cents a gallon....so who knows?
