well, the theory is sound. hot air make less HP. any thing that can be done to keep air cool will boost hp.

i imagine that lining the bottom of your gas tank with the same heat insulation would also keep your fuel cooler and therefore boost performance as well.

Any gains you may see by keeping the air charge cool would be minimal and short lived.
Because there's nothing like an intercooler to keep the air box cool, eventually it will heat soak, regardless of what it's wrapped in.

That was cute.

We should also sell a smaller version of 'the tornado' to spin the incoming air before it hits the air filter to increase its velocity

^^^that was dyno proven too but they did the oem pull in third and the tornado pull in second

Not like the air is just sitting in the airbox heating up anyway..... That whole ram air thing is going on pushing the air right through the plastic airbox..... I guess the miracle mod "could" help with power when idling in bumper to bumper traffic when there is no airflow through the tubes.

Thats the whole reason why airboxes are plastic.....to not conduct heat to the incoming air. ie. LS1 intake manifolds(plastic), 4.6 Ford manifolds(plastic) every freakin bike airbox(except stupid ZX12s) plastic....

I am pretty freakin sure that if there was REALLY any gain to throwing insulation under the box, the OEMs would have PROBABLY figured it out many years ago.....

Good fitting/sealing ram air tube seals to the frame would have made for a better, more realistic video.
