Don't be too concerned about which bike IMHO, ANY modern sportbike is going to be extremely well built and capable

I was thoroughly impressed with the '09 ZX6R, but I was almost as impressed with the 600RR, GSXR, and older ZX6R's (and RR's) as well. IMHO, the '09 6R just has a little extra something that I can't really describe in short bursts.

BTW, several companies make tank sliders for the R6, I think it should mitigate most if not all of the tank rupture issues AFAIK.

Bike(s):
08 Triumph Daytona 675

Thanks guys, this was a big help. At this point I am leaning toward the Honda or Kawa but I am going to run the Triumph the rest of the year and purchase a new bike in October or November... I am hoping the cross plan crank makes it into the 600's by then or perhaps all of the bikes will have slipper's... In the big scheme of things my wife also wants a bike (prob a ninja 250) so I have that to spend, plus I need a new shock for the triumph...

Reality is that I have a lot of room to go on the Triumph in terms of improvement. So after all of this... that is the decision :-)

Thanks peeps....
