Ant, Give it a rest.
Ryan will ignore any points that are made and will cling steadfastly to his point of view just to be able to have the last word.

Most people will make their own decisions concerning Lojack, whether they decide to go with facts or hearsay will be up to them.

You made some valid points in your posts and I appreciate your input.

BTW, who wants a LoJack system on the cheap DIY style?

Again Patrick, you seem to think that I believe one thing is right. I think more so you either have a personal problem with me or just can't comprehend the posts in this thread very well. I have stated numerous times that I am sure LoJack works well as I am sure the other systems do too. My only point is that none of the solutions are the ONLY answer, and stating otherwise is foolish. And that point, I will cling to steadfastly.

You'd be buying a useless piece of plastic.
The Lojack cannot be removed / transferred to another vehicle once it's been installed, and the Lojack can only be installed by a licensed installer.
It cannot be self installed, so basically this guy is running a scam, selling a system that is worthless.

I don't believe anyone stated any thing was the end all solution, just that Lojack IMO was the best solution out there for Vehicle Recovery.
And no, there's nothing personal, just an observation of the things you post.

Fair enough. OP, if you get the Zoombak post up a review on it. Be interested in seeing the tracking systems and the notification alerts in action.

Another angle I took with the zoomback, was family, if you go out riding, whether it be country roads, or off road, if you go down or get lost or whatever, say you hadn't gotten back, or you didn't call, and maybe something happened, a family member could log onto zoomback and see where your at and get help to you.
I can use my cell phone for that use...and my family/friends with my # can do the same.
