A cop made me laugh

Soo I'm riding through the forest when I come up on a group of bikes coming from the opposite direction. The first 4 riders are giving me the ol' helmet tap. The 5th bike comes up and he's tapping is helmet like a mad man. I'm like "alright dude, thanks" and I lift my hand to wave at him. As soon as I did this I realized HE WAS THE COP! I was literally laughing in my helmet for like 3 minutes after that.
Ahhh, just thought I would share.

I was riding through the forest today with friend and we got pulled over.
Written warning, thankfully.

But the officer mentioned earlier a 1000GXR tried to run on him an officer ahead simply back tracked the route when the bike did not come by and found the rider trying to hide.

He also mentioned he had followed another bike an was right behind the rider watching him tap his helmet before he pulled him over.

Officer seemed like a good guy just doing his job and mentioned he had seem many accidents in the forest bikes of all types and some cars too.

Took 1774 back from yankees instead of 149

I saw you guys pulled over off to the side. Sounds like you got off pretty lucky. I heard they are out for blood now around there after that crash the other day. What did you get a warning for?

On a side street, off 149, just north of Montgomery, I saw a bike scattered all over the road, behind a wrecker. The guy, wearing a reflective vest, pushing another bike down the street and the flashing lights of the cop car got my attention.

was the cop a really big ol' boy? deputy kay ray left my shift at the jail a while back for bike patrol. if i gathered anything about him from the time i spent working with him, he'd much rather create a safer rider by being out there with a friendly helmet tap, reminding us to slow down than he would be out there forcing us to comply and putting as much paper on us as possible. i mean the dude was born to just cruise forever. if that's him out there then he's a good guy. just keep on his good side and dont kill yourself.
