That guy needs to sell that bike right now while it still has value. He then needs to buy some crunchy bike to learn on with less power...and less bodywork to jack. He's probably just so caught up in trying to keep up with experienced ppl while still trying to not screw up the bike...not a good combo. Get him on a fairing-less SV650 that he can ride on his own with instead of in a group where he is self-concious and pushing his pace too much and he will probably do much better.

he needs something a little more forgiving. also remmebr taking the class means nothing without the maturity to put into practice what he has learned.

! that's funny, but also really sad. i won't say this often but i think he definitely needs to start on a 250/500 or at least a shittier, less powerful 600 that he doesn't have to replace the fairings on every time he drops it. either way, things obviously aren't working out on the gsx-r.

Yes, this is definitely more his speed! Ill talk to him again and see what i can do! He needs to sell it and get something smaller! He just sees all of us on the SS bikes and wants to fit in instead of staying safe and learning first. He doesnt realize that all of us have grown up on dirtbikes which we rode together back when we were 10-up and then streetbikes. Always had the experience so it was never a problem for us. My first bike was the 05 GSXR 600 and i had no problems! Then i bought this one. The 636 definitely has much more punch but its fun! Definitely all the power i need. Maybe one day ill step up to a 1000 but until then, ill enjoy throwing around the lighter bike. I just love it couse it fits so good under me. Its not too much for me and definitely not too litlle. Its got all the power i could need!

, i didnt realize alot of you guys are so close to me! We need to get together to go ride this next weekend if the weather lets us! Reppin for the south side homies!!

Nah man, he wont want to trade. sorry bro.

The SS bikes are nothing like any other bike out there! They are mean as and touchy as ever. Very nice and very fun and powerful bikes but not a bike to learn on.

Patricia: I'm sure you will do better. Just dont try to do things you cant before you learn and you will be good. You have to have more sense than him! It would be impossible to have less. lol

First off why is this kid buying a bike at 20 years old? With no riding experiance? Lucky he's still alive, this is why bikers get a bad name, moreons buying bikes because it looks cool. Most people don't realise the persision involed, and time riding OFF ROAD! when you master dirt bikes and ATVs try the bad boy 600, or 1000.

agreed, but my point is you've ridden before vs someone w/ NO experience hoping on a 600 or 750. you can't assume everybody has some experience like you.........

well, its just another case of people thinking they are like cars, and if you know how to drive a car, you can ride a bike......and its not NEARLY the same.

yup, many people come into class, as if m/c is as easy as driving a car, and it isn't.
